Description
Ein Einsitzer-Jagdflugzeug britischer Produktion, das während des 2. Weltkriegs eingesetzt wurde. Eine verbesserte Variante des Supermarine Spitfires Mk. V. Die Version IX verbesserte man u.a. um ein neues Gyroskop-Zielfernrohr Mk II, einen neuen Typ des E-Flügels und zwei zusätzliche Treibstoffbehälter im hinteren Teil des Rumpfs. Durch Zufall entstand eine Version, die später als die beste von allen ”Spitfires” bezeichnet wurde.
Die Spielzeugvariante des Jagdflugzeugs verfügt über bewegliche Querruder, Pilotenkabine, die sich abbauen lässt, einziehbares Fahrwerk, eine Stütze mit aufgedrucktem Namen des Flugzeugs und eine Pilotenfigur.
