MouldKing® Mining Specific Articulated - Dump-Truck

Built for the mine face. This articulated dump truck sits low and wide on six deep-tread off-road tyres, finished in high-visibility yellow with a heavy-duty dump bed at the back.

Drive it two ways. The included 2.4G remote handles forward, reverse, left and right, and you can also control it from your phone through the app. An S motor and MK3 smart module do the work, running off a built-in 3.7V 350 mAh rechargeable pack — about 60 minutes to charge, around 40 minutes of run time, and a range of 20 metres or more.

The articulated joint in the middle is the key to how it moves. The front and rear sections pivot against each other for a tight turning circle, and they pitch up and down independently so the truck stays planted over uneven ground.

The build details hold up close. The cab doors open onto a detailed interior with a driver's console, and the dump bed raises and lowers on a hydraulic-style lifting linkage.

With 1,730 pieces, this is a rewarding build that measures about 36 cm long. Charge it, drive it, then park it on the shelf.
