The R.M.S. Olympic was a British transatlantic liner, the sister ship of the Titanic, built in the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast. With a length of 269 meters and a width of 28.3 meters, this giant could reach a speed of up to 24 knots. It was considered the largest ship in the world. For a few days, it lost this title to the "Titanic".

The Olympic served passenger traffic for over 20 years, was also used as a troop transport during the First World War, and sank the German U-boat U-103 in 1918. After the war, it returned to passenger service and remained a symbol of reliability and luxury until 1935.
