COBI® Sd.Kfz.139 Marder III

The Jagdpanzer Marder III fought on many fronts of the Second World War. Until the introduction of the 88-mm cannons, it was a very dangerous anti-tank weapon. The design of the Sd.Kfz. 139 was based on the chassis of the Panzer 38(t). The main armament was a modified Soviet gun, adapted to German ammunition – the 7.62 cm PaK 36(r).

The MARDER III set was developed to match the figures in 1:35 scale and consists of 486 building blocks. It dispenses with stickers and instead relies on high-quality, durable prints. The features of the model include functional track traction, rotating wheels, space for a figure in the combat compartment, and a movable cannon.

Additionally, the set includes a street sign inspired by historical photos with the name of the city El Alamein, where two important battles of the North African campaign took place. The two figures show a German mechanic and an artilleryman. The set was developed with attention to detail and is a perfect addition to the popular Historical Collection.
