COBI® DR BR 03 Steam Locomotive

The powerful BR 03 steam locomotive from COBI consists of 2,564 high-quality building blocks and measures an impressive length of 70 cm. As a express train locomotive, it once pulled heavy passenger trains and reached speeds of up to 120 km/h. The model convinces with a compact and robust design as well as detailed design elements that are modeled after the original forms.

Particularly noteworthy is the system of rotating gears that connects the wheels to the steam piston via struts, enabling realistic movement. The cab is equipped with a chimney, gas lever, and further control elements, while the smokebox can be opened. The block tender features a removable coal load that can be displayed either empty or fully loaded.

Included in the delivery are detailed prints with the locomotive markings of the Deutsche Reichsbahn as well as technical tables. The standard version also includes a figure of a Deutsche Reichsbahn driver in classic uniform and six straight track sections on which the model can be displayed.
