COBI® Citroën™ Type H "La Petite Boulangerie"

Build your unique Citroën model that not only sells delicious bread but also becomes part of a small, charming street that transports you back to a time full of taste and joy.

History of the Citroën Type H

The Citroën Type H is an extraordinary vehicle that first appeared on the streets of Paris in 1947. Thanks to its simple yet robust construction, it quickly gained popularity. The design made it not only functional but also very durable. Its characteristic corrugated metal body was inspired by the aircraft "Ju 52" and gave it a unique look and character!

The Citroën Type H was versatile. It was used not only as a delivery vehicle but also as a bus, camper van, fire engine, refrigerated truck, postal vehicle, hearse, ambulance, and even as a mobile laboratory! Thanks to its versatility, it enjoyed enormous popularity.

By December 14, 1981, 473,289 examples of the Citroën Type H were produced in France, 5,343 in Belgium, and around 10,000 in the Netherlands. This makes it one of the most important and well-known vehicles in automotive history.

Over the years, this classic car has become a symbol of reliability and style!
