History of the Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo

The Maserati GranTurismo is one of the best-known model series of Italian Gran Turismo vehicles and is considered an icon of modern automotive design. The first generation debuted in 2007 and quickly gained cult status. Production continued until 2019; in total, over 40,000 units were put on the road.

In 2022, Maserati introduced the new generation of the GranTurismo, characterized by modern design, all-wheel drive, and a highly developed V6 engine – a powerplant derived from the MC20 supercar.

The Trofeo version is the sportiest variant with an internal combustion engine in the model series. It offers more power, dynamic handling, and a more aggressive character, thereby emphasizing the sporty DNA of Maserati.
